With more and more modelling groups and enthusiasts appearing on social media, we have been surprised by the amount of times Model Transport still get’s mentioned, and how often we still get asked about the old kits.

We’ve even seen some of the original kits selling for considerable amounts on online auction sites.

Although the original range was all sold on, a significant number of them are no longer available. For example, many that went to Convoy Models have had the masters lost or damaged, we’re told.

So we decided Model Transport would be ‘reborn’ - officially as Model Transport 2.0 - and we would rebuild some of the more popular kits that have not been available elsewhere for a while.

This is only a spare time business, so please bear with us as we try to increase the range, but we are always happy to hear from you with suggestions of which kits you would like to see revived.

We will also have a few surprises, in the form of masters that were unfinished when the original range was sold off, and which did not go to the new owners.
