NEW PF10 Bridging Equipment Trailer completes the trio of trailers

Well, we finally got it finished! The last of the main trailers in the Type B Bridging Unit is now available. The PF10 Bridging Equipment Trailer has a wealth of detail, and most parts of the equipment are cast individually so they they can be modelled either fully loaded, or in a diorama being unloaded.

It took a while to get it right, as the parts are a very precise fit - as on the real vehicle - but we are happy with how it looks. There was a lot of test fitting and adjusting, and it even has a selection of additional load items to make it look 'busy'.

Bussing Nag 4.5-ton Workshop Truck released

The house-type workshop truck on the Bussing Nag 4.5-ton truck was an impressive vehicle, and our latest release gives you a chance to capture it both inside and out. The kit comes with a detailed interior, including some machinery and tools. And as you can see, the addition of some tiny scraps of wood and metal can really give it that ‘busy’ look. The kit instruction sheet even give suggestions on how to achieve this.

The kit can also be modelled without having to permanently fix the house-type body in place, meaning you can easily lift it off to display the interior.

The kit is on the website from today, with orders being dispatched from January 20th.

Bussing-Nag 4500 Workshop Truck - Test castings looking good!

The first castings of our new Bussing-Nag 4500 Workshop Truck came out of the mould this morning, and are looking good. This is the house type body, which has a full interior, including some machinery and tools. The rear door is separate, so with that open, and the four windows, the interior will be quite visible. The kit should be available on the model transport website as soon as we have completed the test-build.

75mm Armoured Somua SPG goes on sale

I know this will please a lot of our customers... the new 75mm Armoured Somua SPG is now on sale. The display model is almost done, I just want to add a few paint touches, and find a suitable crew, but you can see what the kit looks like in the photos. Completely new master from the original Model Transport one in the '90s, with a lot more internal detail, and added external detail too. It's on the website here: https://www.modeltransport.co.uk/ww2-kits/75mm-armoured-somua-spg

Citroen 45U GS Released

The Citroen 45U GS truck was produced in large numbers between 1941 and 1944, and although it was originally designed for the French Military, some 18,500 entered service with the Wermacht. They served in Western Europe, Italy, and on the Eastern Front.

The new kit is simple, but very well detailed, with a cab interior, and several optional parts. A really useful addition for many collections. We are planning to add the workshop version at a later date too, but the GS version is now on sale.
